The wyrmlings are no longer beside their riders—they are within them. Perched on shoulders unseen by all but the bonded, already attuned to the leyline. Chigintonth leads Xerocomath to a hidden chamber of Kaeposh coin, a vision of burning red-and-black eyes haunts Tyel'Koron's trance, and the party is turned away at the dwarven gates while Xerocomath realmstrides inside.

Session 35: The Wyrmling Pact

The party learns the true cost of bonding with wyrmlings: death itself. Above Vysteerie's horseshoe ring, they fall repeatedly, dying and realmstriding with their young dragons until the pact is sealed. "To Die!" Each emerges changed, with a dragon at their side.
